TWO big announcements!

Our family is expanding!!

(And it's a boy!)

Yup, you read that right.  Looks like we are going to be using that big guest room after all!  I guess God knew what he was doing when He kept closing doors as I was looking for furniture to put in that bedroom.

We are probably not expanding in the way you think (insert devious chortle here.).

On Saturday, Josh moved into our home!  Josh is Darren's friend from middle school.  They are good buds, and recently God moved mightily and called Josh to Grace Seminary!  We are so excited to have him with us, for however long God allows.  Darren and I have always wanted wherever we lived to be open to anyone that God led to us.  When He gave us this house, we were stunned.  So cheap!  So big!

Of course, God had a plan!  He knew that Darren would want our bedroom to be downstairs.  That leaves the biggest room of the house open for our 'guest room'.  This works GREAT for when God called Josh to Grace, because he needs somewhere to sleep AND study, so this big room is great to fit both a study area and bed into :)  Isn't God grand?

I wanted to post pictures of the move...but I totally forgot to snap a few when he was moving in (perhaps it had something to do with having 3 things on the stove/oven and two cranky girlies?).  Anyway, maybe he'll let me post some of him here soon.  (I probably should have gotten permission for this post in the first place- sorry Josh :))

Our second announcement is an equally huge miracle and wonderful thing.  Tallie is potty trained!  I waited a while before posting this, to make sure that there was no regression...but it looks like we have check and mate!  WooooooohoooOO!!!  Looks like ignoring the whole issue did the trick- in less than 48 hours after implementing that decision her accident rate was cut by about 80%.  Stinkin' kid!
