It's time I had a little light-hearted fun on this bloggity blog blog. I have loved reading every one else's lists about themselves, here's one on me.
7 everyday things I couldn't live without:
-phone (doubles as alarm clock, inbox, teleport hole to Africa and West Lafayette)
-little girl clothes and hair accessories (sometimes the biggest thing that motivates me to get the girls out of bed is knowing I get to pick out cute stuff to put on them and in their hair for the day)
-bathroom rugs
-my secret stash of Craisins (life isn't worth living if you don't at least know you have quick access to Craisins in an emergency)
-that's it. Guess I just have 4.
7 favorite songs:
-literally anything by Dan Haseltine
-I'm not very good at this 7 thing.
7 pastimes I never tire of doing:
-(creating parenthetical phrases (or even parenthetical phrases within parenthetical phrases), I am convinced I could write a novel solely in parenthetical phrases (except for the title and last sentence))
-annoying Darren when he is in a serious mood (best pastime EVER (though, not good (long-term) on a marriage))
-reading books to my sweeties
-planning carb-free dinners
-looking up new exercise routines (not to be confused with, trying new exercise routines)
-finding a new show and slamming down seasons in marathon form until I've finished said show
-designing my future home
7 treats I could eat every day
-Craisins
-Kale Chips (my family always obliges and leaves (pun alert) them all for me, how thoughtful of them!)
-Salt and Vinegar Chips
-Brookside chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds
-peas- I stinking love peas
-fresh-from-the-garden-still-hot-from-the-sun Cherry Tomatoes
-Keebler fudge-striped shortbread cookies
7 people I'd be lost without
-Darren
-Tallie
-Kaia
-Lexi
-Becky (mom)
-Joy (bestie)
-Ed Graf (right now at least! He is my supervisor in my new position.)
7 places I want to visit
-Kitwe, Zambia
-outer space, even if just for a second and back to earth
-anywhere hot with an all-inclusive resort. I ain't particular, yo.
Loved this. Totally laughed at the exercise video thing because yesterday I watched a yoga video and thought about doing it this week. Key word: thought. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteThis was great (and so much fun!) You got me thinking...I may have to give it a try this week! It's nice to take some down time and think about all that you dream of and enjoy! I hope the weight loss/healthy life style are going well. I weigh in next week and do my first set of measurements. This past week was rough all the way around. This week I've gotten back to the basics of good eating. I'll jump back on the exercise wagon asap...looking forward to your update!
